Welcome to Foundation BJJ! By enrolling in our classes or using our website, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Terms

 

1. These terms govern the use of services provided by Foundation BJJ, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school based in Hawaii. 1.2. By participating in our classes, events, or accessing our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

 2. Membership & Fees

 

2.1. All students must register and maintain an active membership to participate in classes.

2.2. Membership fees are due on a recurring basis and are non-refundable, except where required by law.

2.3. Foundation BJJ reserves the right to update membership fees with prior notice.

3. Class Participation & Conduct

 

3.1. Students must follow the instructions of instructors at all times to ensure a safe and respectful training environment.

3.2. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated and may result in termination of membership.

3.3. Proper hygiene and attire, including a clean gi or no-gi attire, must be maintained.

4. Liability & Waiver

 

4.1. Participation in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu involves physical activity that carries risks of injury.

4.2. By enrolling in classes, students (or their legal guardians) acknowledge these risks and release Foundation BJJ, its instructors, and affiliates from any liability for injuries or damages sustained during training.

4.3. Students may be required to sign a separate waiver before participating in classes.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

 

5.1. Membership cancellations must be requested in writing at least 30 days before the next billing cycle.

5.2. Refunds are not provided for missed classes.

6. Privacy Policy

 

6.1. Foundation BJJ respects your privacy and will not sell or share personal information without consent, except as required by law.

6.2. By using our website or services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. SMS Communication & Consent

 

7.1. By providing your phone number and opting into SMS communications, you consent to receive text messages related to your membership, promotions, and important notifications from Foundation BJJ.

7.2. Message frequency may vary based on activity and notifications related to our services.

7.3. Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's policies.

7.4. You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message or contacting us directly.

7.5. If you require assistance, you can reply "HELP" for further information.

7.6. Foundation BJJ is not responsible for any charges incurred due to SMS messaging. The information obtained as part of the

SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

8. Amendments

 

8.1. Foundation BJJ reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
